What do you like most about Flavia? She is a devious lawyer who served 10 years for murdering her boyfriend! I like that she’s dark but also a strong and bright woman with a plan. I like that. How’s she different from your other roles? I’m often cast as the vixen [Laughs]. It’s probably because of the way I look – with the dark hair and eyes… my Italian heritage shines through a lot. Have you picked up on any legal jargon? [Laughs] This is so in line with my life as Flavia is also helping Nikki (Nolo Phiri) with her divorce. I’ve just come out of one, so the words are familiar to me and I have a better understanding of them. Everyone who deals with David ends up in his bed, but not Flavia! Maybe I shouldn’t tell you why… [Laughs] Audiences will be blown away by Flavia’s real agenda. Who’s really fooling who between her and David? Hmmm… So will we be seeing a lot of Flavia? She will be dealing a lot with David, but also with his associates when Bongi (Thembi Seete) runs into some legal trouble in November through until December. How often do you audition instead of being a casting agent? I do a commercial here and there, but acting is still my passion.
