Romeo smuggles Lindiwe into the hotel after a police search starts, but he loses patience quickly when she refuses to go home and the hotel staff become suspicious. Naledi takes drastic action when her life is threatened, and fearing that Mangi will kick her out once the baby is born, Dintle cooks up a plan to hustle a nest- egg for her future by faking family for lobola negotiations.
Later, when Dintle skips town, Mangi doesn’t seem too keen to bring her back, and a stalker named Damon Bradbury (Craig Urbani) steals Layla’s hair. Ndumiso and Gontse move into their new house together, but it looks like they’re a little too close to Gloria’s house for comfort.
Romeo decides to fake a kidnapping to get Lindiwe off the hook with her parents but his plan goes wrong when a dodgy couple interfere with death threats and ransom demands. A suspicious Scelo prompts Mlungisi to interrogate Romeo, and Damon reveals his real reason for following Layla, exposing an old secret in the process.
Neo sets Yvonne on a special mission after she hints that Damon would make a rewarding target, and Quinton meets his mom’s stalker. Layla secretly contacts Boniswa to come save Siseko from Yvonne’s clutches, and Quinton uncovers a disturbing truth about Damon. Gloria keeps popping up at Gontse and Ndu’s new house like a doll in a horror movie, and Tsatsi’s kindness forces Gloria to try bury the hatchet with Pretty. Neo’s private security tapes from the Newtownian come into play when he needs a weapon against Siseko – and reputations are ruined when the press get hold of certain juicy recordings… An outrageous engagement sets Newtown buzzing, while Neo unwittingly endangers Lerumo when he sends an assassin to destroy his enemy.
Lindiwe tells everyone that Romeo is gay, and Mangi gets light fingered when he needs a stack of cash in a hurry and he tries to lure Dintle’s ex pimp Bongani (Katt Ramaphakela) into the open. Stokkies sets out to raise funds for a legitimate business, and Lindiwe turns to her mom in a moment of heartbreak. Phindile finds out that she and Pretty have a common enemy, and Gontse snoops in Ndu’s business.
Lindiwe’s fake kidnapper Boykie (Reynardt Slabbert) turns the tables when Lerumo bursts in.
