Gangster casino boss Denton joins the poker tournament and goes head-tohead with Jakes, his former mole at Kings Casino. Dhanny learns that David doesn’t completely trust her and questions their partnership, and Jakes starts to play too aggressively in the poker tournament, which suits Denton as Jakes loses more of Kings Casino’s money. Esme wonders what’s brewing between Dhanny and David, while Tallulah travels to Durban to get away from Ben for a bit.
Pam has to keep the peace between Esme and Denton as they don’t see eyeto-eye, while Kenny and Ben are on a mission to prove that they aren’t old and can still party with the youngsters. Jakes is declared the poker tournament winner and he gives Thandi the responsibility of deciding how they’ll spend the money that he won. Meanwhile, David has become tired of Dhanny and his attraction to Busi is reignited, and Esme thinks that she can handle Denton but she has no idea what she’s about to get herself into.
DECEMBER
Denton isn’t happy with the friendship developing between Jakes and Paul, while Analine is shocked when she finds Ben’s penthouse trashed after a wild party. Denton wants to update his information on the Kings and hopes to find a new weakness to exploit, and Dhanny and Busi decide to become friends and discuss their sexual experiences with David. Elsewhere, Tallulah’s back from Durban and ready to give Ben a mouthful.
Jakes makes it clear to Denton he won’t be his puppet at Kings Casino anymore, and Ben and Tallulah make peace but AJ suggests that Ben asks his wife why she was in Durban. Busi considers offering her brother Luther (Nyaniso Dzedze) a job at Kings Casino to have an ally, and Jakes tells Thandi about his history with Denton and how he was sent to Kings Casino as a mole. AJ tries to seduce Ben into kissing her, Analine and Linkie are at odds as she refuses to come home for the holidays, and Jakes worries that he’s going to lose Thandi for good.
