Blasts from the past

TV Plus (South Africa) - - 7DE LAAN PREVIEW -

7de Laan Weekdays SABC2 (*192) 19:00 NOVEMBER

Matrone is excited about the upcoming bridge competition, while Marko struggles to put Thinus’s well-being before his own. Alexa and Amorey can’t forgive their mom for her affair with Frank, and Rickus punches Frank. Xander is taken aback when Chris asks him to draw up divorce papers, while Justin supports Alexa through her family crisis and he later tells Vince the whole truth about his fiancée and breaks up with Alexa.

Marko’s upset when Thinus tells him how much he misses his mother Emma (Bertha le Roux), while Charmaine is impressed with Connie is hard work at the boutique. Marko is shocked to see Emma’s ex-boyfriend Dawid Greeff (Stian Bam), and Diederik doesn’t want to pretend to be Henriëtta anymore but Matrone forces him to keep up with the charade or she’ll tell his friends that he dressed up as a girl. Xander encourages Marko to give Dawid the chance to bond with his son Thinus, and Aggie agrees to give a speech at a Youth Day event that Bruynwaves is organising to commemorate 16 days of activism against child and woman abuse. Vince and Bonita reflect on the past year’s challenges and agree that they’re happy their marriage didn’t crumble and that they made it through some tough times.

André takes over Chris’s divorce from Xander and tells Chris to think things through before he goes ahead with the case. Matrone is disappointed with being disqualified from the bridge competition and missing out on the holiday prize to Zanzibar, and Dawid doesn’t pitch for his playdate with Thinus. Marko’s health is deteriorating and he’s certain that Emma’s broken out of prison to kidnap Thinus, and Connie and Aggie move into Paula’s (Diaan Lawrenson) old flat as roommates.

Mariaan’s sister Zelda (played by TV personality/singer Amor Vittone) comes to town for a visit. Chris tries to save his marriage, and Willem sees Connie in a new light and sends her a bouquet of flowers. The Hillsiders celebrate Christmas with an elaborate nativity play in Stasie Ses, with Connie as the narrator, Thinus as the angel and Hilda and Oubaas playing Mary and Joseph.

The show wasn’t able to provide episode synopses.

Mariaan’s troublemaker sister Zelda arrives with her boyfriend Bulla (Johan Baird).
