Mymoena is surprised to see her brother Ismail (Sherman Pharo) in town and he has big plans for his future, which doesn’t excite Mymoena. Rhafiek is trying to find out who’s undermining him, and Chris thinks that the time is right to reveal his relationship with Lee-Ann.
DECEMBER
Mrs J learns that her husband’s killer Charlie van Zyl (Sean Brebnor) is going to be freed from prison, and Charlie’s release is going to have a huge impact on LeeAnn, who’s struggling with the news. Rhafiek tries to hide his plans from Nikki, and Mrs J and Mymoena are excited about the plans for the New Year’s performance but a couple of obstacles get in the way.
JANUARY
Ian and Chris start plotting when new info about Charlie is discovered, and Ismail and Bridgette are getting closer. A change in their situation forces Bridgette to distance herself from Ismail, while Lee-Ann finds out about Chris’s past. Later, Bridgette and Ismail can’t keep apart any longer.

Kaye contacted the newspaper about Jerome, Bridgette learnt that Ian lied to her, and Lee-Ann and Chris struggled to stay apart.
9 – 10 NOVEMBER
Ian has a plan to change the public’s perception of Jerome, while Bianca’s attitude about her pregnancy astonishes Michelle. LeeAnn tries to find out if a tenant’s complaint about Rhafiek is legitimate, Jerome cancels his inter view with the newspaper, and Lauren and Kaye reveal a secret.
14 – 17 NOVEMBER
Jerome and Lauren reconsider their approach after Kaye’s revelation, while Stefan suspects that Michelle is hiding a secret. LeeAnn discovers a mistake with the rent payment for Sea Breeze and she asks Chris to investigate. Michelle denies being pregnant, the Octobers worry about Jerome, and Rhafiek gets an unpleasant surprise when Ian and Lee-Ann call him into Ian’s office. Bianca is excited about the baby at last, but Stefan asks who the dad is.
21 – 22 NOVEMBER
Mrs J prepares an awkward breakfast for Lee-Ann and Chris, while Bianca assures Stefan that he’s not the father of her baby but she confides in Mymoena. Lee-Ann later tries to clear the air with Tim.
