Marisa (Litzy Domínguez Balderas) fears for her son Lalo’s (Jorge Eduardo García) safety in Mexico and after learning that her fiancé is cheating on her, she moves to New York and gets a job at a Manhattan hotel.

Marisa pretends to be anyone but the maid when she meets hotel guest Christóbal (Eugenio Siller).

Christóbal is a US senator who is immediately intrigued by Marisa’s down-to-Earth nature, unaware that she’s not a hotel guest like him.

Sara (Vanessa Villela) is a high-powered businesswoman who’ll do anything to win Christóbal’s affections, including lie to the police.

NOVEMBER

Marisa’s ex-fiancé Victor (Paula Quevedo) arrives in Manhattan.

DECEMBER

Marisa learns that Victor has planned a robbery, and Christóbal’s PR team make an announcement that Christóbal is dating Marisa.

JANUARY

Sara is trying to split up Christóbal and Marisa with lies, and Victor convinces Lalo to tell Marisa that he wants to stay with Victor.

PREVIOUSLY

Marisa was “asked” to leave Mexico following a gang war.

9 – 11 NOVEMBER

Marisa sees her fiancé Victor with another woman and she moves to Manhattan with her son Lalo. Christóbal’s father has a heart attack and on his deathbed asks Christóbal to run for Senate.

14 – 18 NOVEMBER

Christóbal is expecting Marisa to show up for lunch but Sara arrives instead. Hoping to spend some more time with Marisa, Christóbal invites her to the benefit gala but Marisa has nothing fancy to wear. Meanwhile, Sara discovers Marisa’s true identity and threatens her.

21 – 22 NOVEMBER

Sara lies to the cops and claims that Marisa’s stolen her clothes and identity. Christóbal then confesses his feelings to Marisa.
