Tyson digs up Katlego's corpse

Zukisa has put her and Lerato’s lives on the line by telling Gabriel about the bag of cash because it turns out that the bag was a drop-off from a client for Gabriel and it somehow got lost. Meanwhile, Barker’s prodigal son Jody has returned to The Deep and he’s keen to reconnect with his estranged father because he’s set to inherit everything under the Haines name. Barker isn’t the only person stunned by Jody’s return – Bradley is too, as he now has competition to be the head of Haines International. Later, Detective Majola tells Nina that she’s a suspect in Katlego’s (Kgomotso Christopher) death and that she’ll be taken in for questioning.
Angie’s father Conrad makes life difficult for his family when he confesses that he gave Daniella the package full of drugs. Furious that her dad has dragged Daniella into his illegal business, Angie tries to make sure that no one learns the truth, especially Calvin who’s keeping a close eye on Daniella for the sake of his news story. Meanwhile, the Sibekos are backed into a corner when it’s revealed that the skeleton found in Mineshaft 8 has been identified as Katlego Sibeko. Tyson is pressuring Lincoln to admit that he murdered Katlego but Nikiwe is hard at work trying to protect her dad Lincoln. Elsewhere, Obakeng promises his mother Nina that he will get to the bottom of whoever is framing her for Katlego’s murder.
S’khu has tried everything under the sun to win back Nikiwe but she’s not interested in anything he has to say and gives him the cold shoulder. Gabriel decides that it’s time to make things official with Nikiwe and he plans his proposal, and Tyson and his wife Kgothalo battle to keep their marriage in one piece. Later, Kgothalo finds comfort in another man’s arms while Tyson finds solace in Angie’s company, and Nikiwe is in a tight spot and she’s forced to make a big decision.
Jody Haines returns and he’s all grown up.
