Out of control
Detectives English and Mulligan are mixing business with pleasure in the final season of Murder In The First.
San Francisco detectives Terry English (Taye Diggs) and Hildy Mulligan (Kathleen Robertson) have been going the extra mile to put criminals behind bars since episode 1 of action show Murder In The First (2014- current). They’ve also gone the extra mile to deny their attraction to each other, but that’s changing in the third and final season. “It’s about to get sexier,” teases Taye.
WRONG SIDE OF THE LAW
Each season follows one big murder case – season 2 ended in January 2016 with Dustin Maker (Mateus Ward) sentenced to death for a school bus shooting. For season 3, the writers are upping the action with two cases… NFL quarterback Normandy
Parker (Jerrell Pippens – Jerrell Spencer in drama series Persuasion, 2015) is killed at his night- club birthday bash in episode 1. His celeb girlfriend Alicia Barnes (Sara Paxton, Sophie in season 1 of medical drama Code Black, 2015- cur- rent) is accused of Normandy’s murder by his social media fans and it’s not just his fans who’ll be watching, says Kathleen. “The whole city is keeping an eye on Terry and Hildy from the second they take on this case.” District Attorney Mario Siletti (Currie Graham) gets into a screaming fight with his wife Cassie (Jamie Luner) while driving home from a dinner party in episode 1 after she accuses him of having an affair. Not keeping an eye on the road, Mario knocks over and kills a pedestrian and he is arrested for vehicular homicide. But Currie explains that “Mario is a guy who isn’t used to being out of control. He’s not going down without a fight”.
