Crazy cougar poisons Mxolisi in murder-suicide!
Nokuthula has the ultimate “romantic” gesture planned for Mxolisi – murder-suicide!
Nokuthula Shangase (Khabonina Qubeka) was the epitome of glamour and sophistication when she caught Mxolisi Xulu’s (Nay Maps) eye at his party on Wednesday 19 October. He couldn’t get enough of this shamelessly sexy cougar, but Mxolisi’s mom Lindiwe (Dawn Thandeka King) felt the hair rise on the back of her neck when she met Nokuthula on Tuesday 1 November. Mxolisi dumped her in a flash on Monday 7 November after learning her secret. “Mxolisi feels betrayed by her for not telling him that she’s married,” admits Nay. That’s trouble that Mxolisi doesn’t need. There’s something else he didn’t know though – and it’s that nobody drops Nokuthula. She has since become increasingly desperate to sink her claws back in, escalating to a “suicide” attempt on Tuesday 22 November. And when that doesn’t bring him back, she comes up with a twisted plan.

Mxolisi’s attitude towards Nokuthula’s pursuit of him is a bit more mixed than seems wise – this Xulu daredevil has come a long way from being the upright business graduate we met in February 2015. “He’s shocked by her response to not back down. It confirms his mother’s speculation about her. He’s also a bit excited to see how she still wants him,” admits Nay. So Mxolisi accepts an invitation to see Nokuthula at a hotel on Wednesday 23 November. “He gets a lead on her and what state she’s in and then goes to check up on her. It touches him because he still likes her,” adds Nay.

But it doesn’t take Mxolisi long to realise that Nokuthula’s not over her “crazy spell”. While her table is for a romantic dinner for two, complete with one of those fancy gold bottles of champagne, he realises that she’s in the middle of another suicide attempt. Only this time she wants company. “She wants the truth to come out and she tries to kill him,” reveals Nay. When Nokuthula boasts that dinner had a secret ingredient on Monday 28 November, Mxolisi is terrified. “It affects Mxolisi horribly. This means it’s the end for him and there’s nowhere to escape,” reveals Nay…
