Co­me­dian Rowan Atkin­son is best known for his goofy character Mr Bean (1990-1995), but he’s got a love for ac­tion and drama. And he’s show­ing that off in new mini-se­ries Mai­gret (2016- cur­rent). He plays Chief In­spec­tor Jules Mai­gret in the two-episode first sea­son and Jules has a huge task in front of him. He needs to find a se­rial killer be­fore they strike again and the only clue he has is that his killer likes women with dark hair.


The se­ries is based on the fic­tional de­tec­tive character by Bel­gian nov­el­ist Ge­orges Si­menon (1903-1989) and the episodes are more like mini movies – they’re 90 min­utes long each.
