Mar­riage is a big deal for Nige­rian star Stephanie Li­nus, who is the pre­sen­ter and pro­ducer of love-in­spired re­al­ity show Make Me Fab­u­lous (2015-cur­rent). “I wanted to cre­ate an ex­pe­ri­ence that re­minds cou­ples that love al­ways resided within if they just stopped and paid at­ten­tion,” says the 34-year-old. But while she now helps cou­ples rekin­dle ro­mances, her mar­ried life hasn’t been all moon­light and roses…

She mar­ried lit­tle-known Nige­rian 1

soc­cer player Chikelue Iloenyosi in 2004 but di­vorced in 2007 after it was re­vealed that Chikelue was al­ready mar­ried when he wed Stephanie. The mar­riage was later an­nulled.

Stephanie found love again and 2

in April 2012 she mar­ried Nige­rian me­dia con­sul­tant Li­nus Ida­hosa. They wel­comed their son Maxwell Enosata Li­nus in Oc­to­ber 2015.

The ac­tress ac­tu­ally comes from a 3

fam­ily of en­ter­tain­ers – she’s the sixth of eight chil­dren and her sib­lings all work in show­biz in Nige­ria.

Stephanie took part in a num­ber of beauty con­tests and in 2002 she was run­ner-up in the Most Beau­ti­ful Girl In Nige­ria pageant.

Her days as a model al­most ended 5

in 2005 when she was in­volved in a car crash and Stephanie sus­tained se­ri­ous burn wounds to her hands, face and legs. She was trans­ferred to South Africa for six months where she received in­ten­sive med­i­cal treat­ment.

Stephanie’s put a lot of work into 6

her ca­reer – be­sides grad­u­at­ing from the New York Film Academy in 2007 with a de­gree in lit­er­ary stud­ies, she’s also starred in over 90 Nol­ly­wood (Nige­ria’s film in­dus­try) movies.
