Naomi is one of the top WWE Divas and the 29-year-old has been on the wrestling company’s reality show Total Divas (2013-current) since day 1. While she was relegated to a regular guest in season 5 (2016), Naomi has returned to the main line-up in season 6 and she’s bringing back loads of feisty attitude.
1 Her real name is Trinity Fatu and she’s been married to Jonathan Fatu since 2014 – his ring name is Jimmy Uso and he’s not only part of The Usos tag team, he’s also in the Anoa’i family, which includes The Rock and Rikishi.
2 The Florida native has been in the fitness and sports industry since high school – she was a cheerleader for professional basketball team The Orlando Magic in 2007 and 2009 and a back-up dancer for rapper Flo Rida before joining the WWE in 2010.
3 She got hooked after seeing a live WWE show and says, “I knew it was something that I wanted to be a part of. I saw the girls’ muscles and I just started picturing myself being in there. From there I got a tryout and I’ve been here ever since.”
4 Naomi was on season 3 of WWE talent search show NXT (2010-current) in 2010 and was runner-up to Kaitlin, who retired from wrestling in 2014.
5 Besides dancing, Naomi is also a singer but she’s only released one song to date – 2014’s Dance All Night. She produced the music video and it has 2 million YouTube views.
6 Never one to hold back, Naomi lashed out at the WWE in December 2016 when she wasn’t in their promo photo for season 6 of Total Divas. The WWE’s tweet has been taken down and Naomi is in all current photos – no one knows if it was a stunt to add fire to her show return or a genuine error.
