SONNY’S SECRET

On Thursday 9 February, Sonny (Freddie Smith) is hiding in Gabriella’s (Camila Banus) closet trying to avoid his mom Adrienne (Judi Evans) when he overhears Sami (Alison Sweeney) and Katie (Lauren Koslow) talking to Gabi. Thinking they’re discussing a surprise party for his boyfriend Will (Chandler Massey), Sonny actually hears them talking about getting rid of Nick’s (Blake Berris) body on Wednesday 25 January. “It was such a fun episode,” says Freddie. Sonny’s all ears on Friday 10 February as Gabi tells them that Nick was still alive when they dragged him into the Salem River. How is he going to break this news to Will?

SPEECHLESS

On Monday 13 February, Sonny excitedly tells Will, “I’m glad you’re sitting down ’cause you’re not gonna believe this.” But before he can utter a word, Adrienne interrupts and Will blabs that Sonny was eavesdropping on Sami, Kate and Gabi’s plans for his party. And they keep interrupting him until it’s just plain awkward to raise the topic of murder – we all know how that goes, right?

CAUGHT OUT

Sonny is still trying to work things out when he runs into Sami and Gabi on Tuesday 14 February and when he can’t disguise his skittishness, Gabi realises that he knows what they did. Now Gabi is going all out to convince him to keep her out of jail. If Gabi’s in jail, Will could get custody of baby Arianna… but what would Will think of his boyfriend who sent his babymama, mom and grandma to jail? Perhaps some secrets are best left in the closet. “Sonny is very straightlaced. I’m looking forward to him doing something wrong eventually,” hints Freddie. NB! See more on p31.
