There are no limits to how far Quinn will go to keep Liam and Steffy apart.

The moment Liam (Scott Clifton) fainted in front of Quinn (Rena Sofer) on Wednesday 15 February, she smuggled him off to her cabin in the woods like a squirrel with a nut. She’d do anything to give Liam’s half-brother – her darling son Wyatt (Darin Brooks) – a chance with the girl of his dreams, Liam’s fiancée Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood). But crazy Quinn’s complete inability to see a moral line without skipping across it is going to lead her into a horrific situation with Liam.
SERPENT IN THE GARDEN
While Wyatt is comforting Steffy over her missing love on Thursday 2 March, Quinn spins a tale for Liam. “Your name is Adam,” she says. When he jokingly suggests, “And you’re Eve?”, Quinn goes with it and claims to be his wife Eve. Since Liam is a hopeless romantic, his next step is to kiss his lovely wife on Friday 3 March. Quinn should slam on the brakes but she kisses back instead.
DEACON’S TWO CENTS
Quinn’s grip is definitely slipping. On Monday 6 March, she confides in “Adam” about her mother’s rejection of her when she was a child – something we’ve never seen her tell anyone ever. And when Quinn’s (now mysteriously estranged) husband Deacon (Sean Kanan) barges in on Tuesday 7 March, he highlights how perverse that growing intimacy is when he asks Quinn whether she’s had sex with her new “husband”. Deacon warns Quinn that when Liam gets his memory back, “He’s going to think that you’re evil and that you’re manipulative. And, Quinn, you’re going to wind up in a padded cell!”
MOVING VIOLATIONS
Deacon’s advice is in one ear, out the other. On Friday 10 March, Quinn lets her prisoner tenderly romance her into bed – fully aware of the mental issues that make consenting to sex impossible for him right now, particularly with a woman who Liam, in his normal state, fears and loathes. It’s not the only thing she’s taking from him: Quinn’s now tricked Steffy into feeling so rejected by Liam that she winds up in bed with Wyatt the same day. It’s so bizarre that we have to wonder whether Quinn is mentally competent enough for consent herself.
