Liam and Steffy stroll down memory lane as they plan their wedding. Steffy asks Quinn what gives with her new-and-improved attitude towards Ridge, while Katie takes a less diplomatic approach. Eric offers Ridge the co-CEO post after they share an emotional moment, and Zende sympathises when Thomas tells him that his career is going nowhere and he feels like an outsider in his own family. Thomas goes off the deep-end again when he finds out that Ridge is being promoted. Later, Brooke returns from Italy and asks Ridge when they’re starting their wedding plans – and how he’s doing with getting rid of Quinn.

Maggie helps Nicole in her battle to regain custody of Holly, and Deimos takes steps to reunite the mother and daughter but his behaviour worries Nicole as he sets off to regain the Orwell Device. Dario is the first to suffer a horrifying attack that leaves him between life and death, then Andre is poisoned. Chad strikes back at Deimos but Deimos threatens to shoot Gabi unless Chad surrenders the Orwell Device to him. Eric sneaks into Salem with medical supplies for Hope, and Marlena uses herself as bait to lure Stefano out of hiding in Prague.

Phyllis suffers a setback in her campaign for a fresh start, and Nikki shows up on Sharon’s doorstep to comfort her after Dylan vanishes, but Paul assures them both that Dylan is safe. Victor challenges Victoria, inspiring her to adopt new tactics to win her battle with Brash & Sassy. Ravi sees a new side to Ashley, and Reed falls in with the wrong crowd at school. Devon asks Hilary to stay on at GC Buzz and assigns her new co-host Mariah, where Colin returns to Genoa City just as Jill runs of the rails.
