There’s “unwelcome” news from ASA gym manager Mmamosa (Sonia Mbele) on Monday 10 April when she wakes up her son Lehasa (Siyabonga Sepotokele) to tell him that his shady stepdad Tiny (Lucky Khoza) has collapsed. “Mmamosa is shocked,” says Sonia. “She’s hysterical! Her hubby Tiny has had a heart attack and died.” Lehasa is surprised at news of Tiny’s demise but he’s shocked by his mother’s reaction. Sonia explains that “Mmamosa is a heartless woman and people knew that her marriage to Tiny was a sham. Lehasa knew that she only married Tiny to get even with her former flame Justice (Saint Seseli) – there was nothing more to the marriage. The death makes Mmamosa psychotic and Lehasa is left wondering if his mother wasn’t really in love with Tiny and that is why she ignored all of his wheelingdealing shenanigans on the side”.
Besides being a killer, Tiny was into risky deals on the side and that’s something Mmamosa learns on Tuesday 11 April. “Tiny spent Mmamosa’s money and he was up to his ears with debt. She has nothing to her name. She’s flat broke and that gets her even more out of control,” reveals Sonia. Meanwhile, ASA gym owner Justice takes pity on mourning Mmamosa and gives her his sympathy and attention. “She loves the attention that she gets from Justice and she loves the attention she gets in general. And it all gets to her head.”
But that focus rubs Justice’s new wife Warona (Maki Mokhitli) the wrong way and her jealousy goes into overdrive on Tuesday 11 April. Warona would love to see Mmamosa walk away from ASA and leave her man alone, but Sonia teases that “Mmamosa isn’t stable mentally or emotionally… she may just walk out and into a mental hospital!” NB!
