Customers with the old M-Net analogue decoders can get ready to go digital… for free!

-

I have the old M-Net analogue decoder and MultiChoice said they need to upgrade my decoder. Will I lose channels and not see my favourite show Modern Family anymore? – CARMI LEONARD, VIA FACEBOOK MultiChoice is gradually migrating M-Net’s current analogue customers to digital decoders over the course of this year and into 2018. “We’re doing this at our cost for current analogue customers, province by province,” explains a MultiChoice spokesperson. “M-Net analogue customers will continue to get the same channels they do now [with the same shows like Modern Family (2009- current)] “at the same price. They will have much better digital quality viewing and also access to an onscreen TV Guide and electronic programming guide for the first time.” There is a small migration fee that is charged to customers. Only subscribers who are currently M-Net analogue customers will be migrated – and wait for the call from MultiChoice. Visit www.dstv. com/topic/mnet-analogue for more information.
