Saving the best for last
Mazwi puts it all on the line by helping a traumatised Nolwazi.

Mazwi (Musa Ngema) hates that he had to partner with his brother-inlaw Fana (Dumi Mnqobi) to save his ex-mistress and Fana’s girlfriend Nolwazi (Thando Thabethe) from her crazy kidnapper Thabiso (Matli Mohapeloa) on Tuesday 11 April. Thabiso tortured Nolwazi to get back at his ex-lawyer Fana for leaving him to rot in prison years earlier but the tables are turned and Thabiso is on the run from Wednesday 12 April. “Mazwi and his Mabaso in-laws are furious with Thabiso and want to destroy him for what he did to Nolwazi,” says Musa. But first, Mazwi wants to win back his ex and make sure that Nolwazi is okay.
BACK AT IT AGAIN
She isn’t coping on Monday 17 April and Nolwazi is paranoid following her kidnap experience. “She isn’t her usual self. She locks herself in her apartment and that gives Mazwi the chance to save her from herself,” explains Musa. On Tuesday 18 April, Mazwi arrives to comfort Nolwazi and it’s immediately difficult for the ex-lovers to keep their hands off each other. “The feelings are still there. He doesn’t want to see her go through such a painful ordeal and they start on a new page,” adds Musa, who reminds viewers that Mazwi dumped Nolwazi in early Feb 2017 after when he found out that his wife Sphe (Pearl Monama) was pregnant. “But he doesn’t want to lose the love of his life again. Nolwazi means everything to Mazwi and he needs her back.”
LET HER GO
Fana gets the cold shoulder when he tries to talk to his girlfriend Nolwazi on Wednesday 19 April as “she and Mazwi blame Fana for bringing Thabiso into her life. She doesn’t want anything to do with Fana now,” says Musa, whose character tells his brother Smanga (Moopi Mothibeli) that he isn’t over Nolwazi on Friday 21 April. Fana continues to reach out, unwilling to give up Nolwazi without a fight. And that may just be on the cards… “Mazwi and Fana can’t stand each other. They’re in love with Nolwazi but she’s hesitant to officially date either,” says Musa “Fana endangered her and Mazwi’s still married. It will be war for her hand.”
