Nick and Nicole have something in common: nasty love.
Nicole (Arianne Zucker) confessed her love to priest Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) while they were being held hostage in a basement by a mad doctor on Wednesday 29 March. She then kicked mad doctor Chyka’s (Michael Benyaer) butt until he coughed up proof that Eric was raped by Kristen Brady (Eileen Davidson) back in August 2016, information that could clear Eric’s reputation and win him back his priest’s collar. Meanwhile, Nick (Blake Berris) is back from the dead with a blackmail agenda after his ex-lover Gabi (Camila Banus) “murdered” him for trying to rape her on Thursday 26 January. But what Nicole and Nick are about to do reveals that they’re more alike than they could imagine when it comes to their love lives.

On Monday 17 April Eric tells Nicole that he wants to leave the priesthood to be with her, no matter what. But instead of trusting his love, on Thursday 20 April she destroys all the proof of Eric’s innocence that she scooped from Dr Chyka and his crazy cabin. Now she can have Eric all to herself. “She certainly makes one bad choice after another and it just never stops,” admits Arianne. “She wants love wherever she can get it, and she is so desperate to have it that she literally gets in her own way.”
MANIPULATIVE NICK
Ever since his return from a watery grave on Thursday 23 March, Nick has been subtly blackmailing Gabi while trying to convince her that he’s changed. And on Wednesday 12 April, he even reveals that he’s perfectly aware that she tried to kill him. But his end goal isn’t money – he wants her back. On Thursday 20 April Nick tells Abby (Kate Mansi) that when it comes to Gabi, “No matter how many times I’ve messed up, we still have this electric connection.” So When Nick realises on Wednesday 26 April that Gabi’s new boyfriend “T” (Brendan Coughlin) is jealous of the time he and Gabi spend together, he sets out to fan the flames of that jealousy by spending so much time with Gabi that T eventually dumps her! The trouble is, Nick and Nicole are both out to avoid rejection at all costs – even when the person who pays is the one they love.
