For Days fans, a new man in Hope’s life is like your own mom introducing some random bloke as your “new daddy”. It’s not going to go down well. But Daniel (Scott Chandler in All My Children, 1970-2011) assures fans that Hope and Aiden will take their time getting there. “It would’ve been awful, knowing her situation as a married woman, if Aiden had come onto the show and was like, ‘Your daughter is so rude and bullying my son. Whoa! Wait a minute. Let’s talk about this over drinks.’ The next thing, we’re romancing. It’s delicate. She’s half of Bo-and-Hope… But if it’s written delicately, Hope and Aiden can work.”

Kristian sympathises with the fans who are wanting to see that romance. “I was reading tweets and they were saying, ‘Hope and Aiden aren’t even together yet and I want them together!’ And that’s fantastic! It was frustrating at the beginning, but I truly appreciate why they paced it. I love where they started with Aiden and Hope, being combative, but I must tell you, I love where they’re going with the story and I could not be happier.” NB! See more on p27.
