Trouble’s brewing at The Duncan when Matlala incites terror with his protest action. Matlala later learns that Sibeko Gold and Haines International are merging into one company and he tries to get businessman Barker Haines’ attention when he realises that jobs are going to be lost in The Deep. Barker’s unimpressed when he finds out that his hotel has been targeted by Matlala and the protesters but even he is taken by surprise when looters ransack The Duncan. Meanwhile, Sechaba joins in the protests while Lerato plays his supportive wife.
