Lalo’s op­er­a­tion wasn’t suc­cess­ful, Marisa went to jail, and Frank searched for the real crim­i­nal.

26 – 28 APRIL

Cristóbal is cer­tain that Marisa is in­no­cent and he tells her that he’ll do ev­ery­thing to free her. Marisa is feel­ing lost and dis­tracted be­hind bars, and Víc­tor gets a new job at a bar and that’s a prob­lem be­cause he’s an al­co­holic. Cristóbal is warned about get­ting in­volved with the lawyers work­ing on Marisa’s case, and Amador learns that Marisa has a sis­ter.

1 – 5 MAY

Marisa is de­ter­mined to earn re­spect in jail and chal­lenges Catalina to a bas­ket­ball game – if Marisa wins, she wants Catalina to back off. Mean­while, Lalo is wak­ing from his coma and Marisa and Cristóbal are al­lowed to visit him in his hospi­tal bed. The judge has set Marisa’s bail at $200 000, and Po­laco man­ages to sell one of his stolen gems. Else­where, Víc­tor gets drunk at work and de­mands to see his son Lalo but he isn’t al­lowed into the hospi­tal ward.

8 – 9 MAY

Víc­tor’s girl­friend Yaya warns him that she won’t stay if he con­tin­ues to be­have badly and drink so much. Lalo’s con­di­tion isn’t im­prov­ing and the doc­tors need to speak to Víc­tor, Marisa and Cristóbal. Re­porters get a tip-off about Cristóbal and Marisa get­ting back to­gether but Marisa re­fuses to talk to the jour­nal­ists, while else­where Belinda gets news about the pa­ter­nity test.
