Oops! On Thursday 1 June while Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) is begging her estranged husband Jack (Peter Bergman) to take her back and clinging to his sleeve, he tries to shake her off, sending Phyllis tumbling down the stairs and knocking her unconscious. Suddenly it’s all coming back to us – we’ve been here before.

1 In August 2013, Phyllis (Michelle Stafford back then) tussled with Sharon (Sharon Case) after hearing her reveal that she tampered with Summer’s (Hunter King) DNA test. Phyllis was in a coma until a miracle treatment not only woke her up in August 2014, it gave her a new face (in real life Gina took over the role from Michelle). And it’s not just Phyllis who should watch her step… 2 In May 2016 a brain tumour made Stitch’s (Sean Carrigan) psycho son Max (Jared Breeze) trip stepmom Abby (Melissa Ordway) down the stairs, leading to Abby suffering a miscarriage. 3 In 1981, Julia (Meg Bennett) miscarried her hubby Victor’s baby after she fell down the stairs during a tussle with Victor and her lover Michael Scott (Nicholas Benedict). During the mid-’80s, crazy Patty 4 Williams (then played by Andrea Evans) pushed Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) down stairs for stealing her boyfriend Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian). Traci then miscarried Danny’s baby. 5 Something similar happened to Abby’s mom Ashley (Eileen Davidson) in June 2009 when seeing Adam (Justin Hartley), dressed as the ghost of his dad Victor’s (Eric Braeden) wife Sabrina (Raya Meddine), spooked her into falling down the stairs and miscarrying her and Victor’s baby.
