Loads of DStv viewers aren’t happy with old food shows that are dished up.
I am a DStv Premium subscriber and I’d like to know why the channels – Food Channel, Zee World and GlowTV – are airing old seasons of cooking shows like Chris Saleem’s Boho Kitchens? – M LABUSCHAGNE, SMS “We are moving away from overseas content and looking rather at local content or even sourcing our own productions,” explains Nazeer Noormohamed from the GlowTV channel. “This requires planning and logistic support on a tremendous scale, given the type of show that is being made.” He adds that “in the interim, the channel will be repeating overseas content until they have played out or we get the go-ahead for the local material.” As they say, out of the frying pan and into the fire…
