It’s been a long and difficult couple of months for a woman scorned, like ASA boss lady Mmamosa (Sonia Mbele). She’s had to deal with the sudden death of her lover Tiny (Lucky Khoza), she lost a lot of money to his scam and then she jumped into bed with her son’s bestie Tongai (Kagiso Rathebe). But she has her head screwed on straight again and is determined to spring back into action and complete her original goal: to take down Justice (Saint Seseli), the man who “ruined her life”.

SCANDAL & LIES

Mmamosa prepares for her hostile takeover from Monday 26 June when she makes an announcement to the board members of the gym. As Sonia explains, “She’s determined to throw Justice out of the gym and make the company hers. How does she do this? She influences the board members by giving them reason to believe that she is a better fit for the company than Justice. She also spreads lies about Justice and sells gossip to the media so that Justice’s name is slandered from Tuesday 27 June. Mmamosa wants to embarrass Justice and ‘kill’ everything that he has built.” Justice, on the other hand, isn’t aware of what Mmamosa is doing, but his wife Warona (Maki Mokhitli) is certain that Mmamosa is a snake in the grass. “Warona is suspicious and Mmamosa does everything in her power to keep her distracted. And that’s not difficult – Warona is already pre-occupied with her affair with ASA athlete Lebona (Mothusi Magano),” explains Sonia.

LOSING THE PLOT

But there’s a downside to Mmamosa’s plan and that is that nobody trusts her. “It’s something she can’t handle [on Tuesday 4 July] especially when the attention isn’t on her. She’s powerful and vindictive and completely insane. Her determination to drive Justice into the ground has made her crazy. She has nobody that she can truly open up to and she’s missing out on the good things in life.” The only people that Mmamosa can rely on are her sons Tladi and Lehasa (Solomon Sebothma and Siyabonga Sepotokele) but they’re too involved in gym politics and women. Sonia hints that “she is trying to get revenge but it feels like she’s trying to go into an asylum too!”
