The church board discuss firing Pastor Mdletshe, and GC’s mom MaXimba begs him not to give his father reason to disown him. GC arrives at the Cetshwayo homestead for his wedding and his dad forces him to see the chief. GC gives his parents the slip after Bhomu claims that GC needs to be “cleansed of the gay spirit”, and Nkunzi tells his prison support group that he’s seen the error of his ways. Qhabanga offers to help break Nkunzi out of jail, and later Nkunzi struggles to change. Meanwhile, Mastermind tries to introduce Smangele to the new woman in his life – Mumsy.
