Bill tells Liam that Spencer Publications is all about the dollars, so if he wants to launch a charitable foundation he can do that on his own dime and his own time. Caroline pleads with Ridge to give Thomas his son, and Ridge admits that he has judged Thomas too harshly, then hands baby Douglas to Thomas and walks out. Brooke cries on Ridge’s shoulder and Ridge admits that he feels numb since he’s given up his claim to Douglas. Later, Ridge is appalled to see Bill and Brooke kissing.
