Aggie (Mimi Mahlasela) and Vince (Jacques Blignaut) realise on Wednesday 26 July that they have feelings for each other. “They have been each other’s support system and confidantes for some time now,” says Jacques. “Vince realises that it’s now or never to tell Aggie that he’s in love with her. Also, Petro (Carla van der Merwe) died in the plane crash on Thursday 13 July – she suffered head trauma and never regained consciousness. In real life, Carla’s storyline simply ran its course and she was told what lay ahead before filming in May.
