Is Hayley Owen from High Rollers joining Generations? – SMANGA, VIA FACEBOOK Indeed she is! Hayley, who played Tallulah in the cancelled SABC3 series High Rollers (2013-2017), will make her appearance on 27 August as the character Elsa. “Viewers will have to keep watching so they can see her story unfold,” teases Generations publicist Gaaratwe Mokhethi teases. AUGUST
Mrekza wants a say in his love life this time round and rubs his control-freak girlfriend Lucy the wrong way. Doctor Sphe misdiagnoses her baby daughter Rorisang to scare her family, and the Diales try to save naïve Lesedi from troubled teen Mpho. Moroka brothers Mazwi and Smanga put their differences aside to vote their uncle Tau out of the family business. Nandi questions her daughter Sphe’s jumpiness whenever she mentions Rorisang’s health concerns, and Lucy is furious when Lesedi sneaks out the house to meet up with Mpho, against Lucy’s wishes. Tau meanwhile tries to manipulate his rival Jack’s son Fana into a partnership against Mazwi and Smanga.
SEPTEMBER
Lesedi reaches out to Mpho when he tells her about his problems now that Zondiwe is around, and Sphe’s over-thinking sees her lose control of her emotions where hubby Mazwi is concerned. Mazwi is worried about Sphe’s mental health but she pushes him away when he offers comfort and support. Tau forms an alliance with his ex-brother-in-law Gadaffi in another attempt to destroy Mazwi and Smanga, and Jack has hacker Zach right where he wants him. Zondiwe is tired of reckless Mpho giving him a hard time, and the Moroka elders are stunned by Sphe’s divorce demand – she’s reached breaking point with Mazwi’s cheating on her and she wants out, not matter the cost and embarrassment.
OCTOBER
Sphe refuses to face her family and she asks Mazwi to re-schedule their divorce meeting – she’s secretly planning an escape for her and Rorisang. Mpho is back to his old ways and teaches his friend Brian his thieving tricks, and Namhla is upset when she learns that Zach lied to her about being a criminal again. Wandile risks her life to go under the knife for a sexchange operation, and Namhla dumps Zach for lying to her. Zitha disappears after a heated meeting with the JM Eco City associates, while Fana is annoyed when his dad Jack drags him into his dodgy business. Meanwhile at Siqalo Courts, a bomb explodes and bad-guy Gadaffi is rushed to hospital.
