GC is flat broke and in jail, and prison looms after MaMlambo gets advice about pyramid schemes. The Mdletshes introduce Mumsy to the congregation as Pastor Mdletshe’s daughter, but trouble from Mumsy’s past and stolen cash follow her to KwaMashu. KwaMashu isn’t when Nkunzi and Zekhethelo visit the shisanyama. Nkunzi and Zekhethelo are suspicious when MaNgcobo calls on MaMlambo to cleanse the house, and it looks like Nkunzi’s murdered wife Innocentia (Sthandwa Nzuza) is back from that car that MaNgcobo pushed over the cliff!

GC dines and dashes at the shisanyama, gets blackout drunk and breaks into the panelbeaters. Pastor Mdletshe pulls a lemon face when MaNzuza invites GC to stay with them, but GC vanishes after Jojo returns. Someone close to GC’s heart has words of comfort for him, and things looks set to change back home for the Cetshwayos thanks to GC’s brush with death and help from MaNzuza. Thobile falls in love again, Mastermind is heartbroken
when Mumsy reveals her true colours, and the Mdletshes are divided about what to do when Mumsy goes missing. MaNzuza’s jewellery is stolen, and the Mdletshes walk into their house to find a scene of debauchery. Mastermind is torn between Mumsy and Zekhethelo. MaNgcobo receives a message from the other side and she’s in for a terrible shock at her engagement party when orderlies from Sunnyhill asylum arrive to take her back. Innocentia waltzes in to take MaNgcobo’s place in the Xulus’ house, along with Qhabanga – but she wants Nosipho gone. Qhabanga begs Innocentia not to expose their affair to Nkunzi. MaNgcobo and Innocentia prepare for battle after MaNgcobo escapes the asylum thanks to an old friend. And Mxolisi is out to expose Nkunzi after a new ATM bombing.
