The Count is also the show’s writer and producer. “History Channel gave us a great team who make sure that everything is perfect,” he laughs.

Danny grew up in Detroit and says 2

that “it was impossible not to fall in love with cars in a place nicknamed ‘Motor City’”. But if that never worked out, he could fall back on music – his late father Daniel Nicholas Koker I was a pianist and the TV star says that “my dad taught me everything I know about music and cars. But mostly music”.

his hands dirty at Count’s Kustoms, but he also has other businesses to run: a Vegas radio and TV station, Count’s Tattoo Company in the Rio Hotel & Casino and rock ’n roll bar Count’s Vamp’d, where Danny performs with his heavy metal band Count’s 77.

As for a special woman in his life, 5

Danny has a few… including his businesswoman wife Korie. “We have a house full of pets,” says Danny, “and I love Cadillacs. They don’t give too much trouble [Laughs]…”

And he wears a bandana because 6

“it’s cool, not because it’s holding a wig in place. That’s my real hair!”
