Ed’s letter
Just like in most homes, we have an ongoing fight for control of the remote. And it’s worse when I visit my parents, because my dad struggles to keep up with all of the schedule changes. When my niece visits, then no one can agree on what to watch. It’s just as difficult keeping everyone in a family happy as it is to please TV lovers thanks to the number of shows on TV. But there really is something for everyone in this issue – and after scanning through the list of what’s coming (see p8), I think I’m going to start bribing my family right now to have control of what’s watched. One show that we don’t get to write about is also one that I’m addicted to: reality show World Of Dance (Fridays, M-Net at 19:30). It’s probably the best dancing show I’ve seen and you can’t help but tap your feet to the action onscreen. One of my favourites that is featured in this issue is comedy The Good Place (p38) – but it turns out all the glitters may not be so good…
