JJ Deveraux’s (Casey Moss) bad-boy days are behind him and he’s even brought nice- girl Paige Larson (True O’Brien) home to meet his equally goody-two shoes mother Jennifer (Melissa Reeves). But on Wednesday 16 August, as JJ runs into a cougar named Eve (Kassie DePaiva), Paige mentions to Jennifer that her mom’s in Salem and Jen invites them to dinner. Later Jennifer tells JJ all about her high school drama with an old enemy but doesn’t mention her name… Eve. Then Paige announces that she’s taking her mom Eve to meet her boyfriend JJ’s family – the Deveraux clan. Uh-oh…
HIJACKING THE CASH
There’s an awkward silence when Eve arrives on Jennifer’s doorstep on Thursday 17 August. Eve’s been vague about her past with her “friend” Jennifer but they have two husbands in common: Frankie Brady (Billy Warlock) and Jack Devereaux (Matthew Ashford). And on Monday 21 August, Eve reveals that she’s back in Salem to cash in on the royalties from Jack’s book – the money that Jennifer has been donating to military veterans, as per her late husband’s wishes. Lovebirds JJ and Paige hit the brakes as their moms start glaring daggers at one another. And when Eve figures out that she can hurt Jennifer through JJ, things are going to get dirty, sexy and dangerous. “Don’t expect her to make any healthy choice or decision. She is really broken,” warns Kassie.
