Like the fingers on a hand, Claws’ five ladies may each be doing their own thing, but stand against them and these rock-solid friends will come together in a fist and knock you out!
1 VIRGINIA LOC (Karrueche Tran) Why is she pressed? Virginia is one of Uncle Daddy’s ex-hookers (as well as Roller’s mistress) who’s been filling in at the salon while Polly “was away”. The salon girls still haven’t accepted her as one of their own… until she steps in to help Desna get away with murder. You know her! Karrueche was singer Chris Brown’s girlfriend but now has a five-year restraining order against him.
2 POLLY (Carrie Preston) Why is she pressed? Sweet-as-pie Southern girl Polly is fresh out of jail for identity theft and ripping off old folks, so now this career con artist has to keep her pointy little nose clean. She a ride-or-die friend when it comes to Desna. You know her! Carrie is kooky lawyer Elsbeth Tascioni in The Good Wife (20102016) and Good Fight (2017-current).
3 DESNA SIMMS (Niecy Nash) Why is she pressed? To raise enough money to buy her own salon and care for her brilliant, autistic brother Dean (Harold Perrineau), abused former foster child Desna is laundering money for a local gangster named Uncle Daddy (Dean Norris) and his son – her lover Roller (Jack Kesy). You know her! Niecy was glorious Denise Hemphill in Scream Queens (2015-2016)
5 JENNIFER HUSSER (Jenn Lyon) Why is she pressed? This mom and ex-party girl is Desna’s bestie who is married to Roller’s newly sober lifecoach brother Bryce (Kevin Rankin). You know her! Jenn was Lindsey Salazar in Justified (2012-2013).
5 QUIET ANN (Judy Reyes) Why is she pressed? Baseball batwielding Ann is the salon’s bouncer and she takes nonsense from a man. She wouldn’t mind a little nonsense from the ladies though… You know her! Judy Reyes was Devious Maids’ Zoila (2013-2016).
