Mondli fills Khumbulani in on a few things he should know about Smangele, and Qhabanga finds out about Captain Mthimkhulu’s shocking new plans. Mondli comes up with a strategy for trapping Qhabanga and exposing Nkunzi, and out of the blue Advocate Zulu tells MaDlamini about some new travel plans, but they’re disrupted by bad news about MaDlamini and he’s forced to choose between the two women in his life. Qhabanga makes a move after a warning from Nkunzi, and Nkunzi’s plans are unexpectedly thwarted by the stokvel ladies.
DECEMBER
MaNzuza is consumed by jealousy while Advocate Zulu is devastated after finding out how serious MaDlamini’s condition is. MaDlamini gets good news that’s also bad news, while MaNzuza chooses between her church and her heart before visiting her rival. Pastor Mdletshe goes missing again and MaDlamini turns to MaMlambo for help. KwaMashu runs rife with gossip about Smangele’s new struggles, and Fikile’s bigotry shocks the salon ladies. The church and salon clients look at Smangele like she’s cuckoo when she launches an initiative and tries to reunite the choir. Mastermind is out of smart tricks, Mondli wrecks Nosipho’s big day, and Qhabanga sets Nkunzi on the wrong path. Mondli triumphs, and Nosipho makes a bold move, while MaNgcobo runs into trouble.
JANUARY
The whole of KwaMashu is laughing behind Smangele’s back, and there is a brand-new church scandal – just wait until everyone finds out about MaNzuza’s affair! MaMlambo asks Mxolisi for help when some church members kick Pastor Mdletshe when he’s down, and Thobile warns Sma not to go choir crazy. Lovesick Qhabanga disobeys Nkunzi, and Mxolisi has a hot tip for Mastermind and Nkunzi. Mondli and Nosipho try a fresh start and Qhabanga winds up in jail after fighting for love. Nkunzi is back in business after Qhabanga scores a huge deal, while the fight for church leadership turns into all- out war. Thobile wins the choir to her side but Sma refuses to let go and is caught using witchcraft. Nkunzi uncovers Mastermind and Qhabanga’s sinister plot to hire a hitman, and two choirs do battle. Pastor Mdletshe makes a move on MaMlambo, and Nkunzi breaks up a fight between Mxolisi and Qhabanga.
