Single- dad Vusi is struggling to wrap his head around his babymama Katlego neglecting their daughter Lufuno and leaving the parenting duties to him. Chief Azwindini and Ranthumeng manage to put their differences aside and shake hands after their constant disputes over the years, and Teboho doesn’t realise the significance of her new Venda name and plans to confront the elders about changing it. Matodzi apologises to her bestie Rendani for all the drama that she caused for Rendani and her family, and time is running out for wheeler-dealer Matshidiso to find a rich new hubby to fund her lavish life-style. Thathe mayor Mulalo isn’t sold on his wife Teboho’s new goodietwo-shoes act, while Vusi is prepared to write Katlego out of his and Lufuno’s lives and start off fresh. Livhuawani is desperate to save her broken marriage to conman Tendamudzimu but then she finds out that he’s cheating on her, and Matshidiso goes to war with Noni to win Sthembiso’s heart… and bank account. Elsewhere, Vusi gets the feeling that Katlego is suffering postpatrum depression after seeing her bizarre new behaviour.
DECEMBER
Vusi thinks that Katlego hates him, and Sthe spots something he didn’t expect: Matshidiso with another man. Dee has interesting news to tell, and Tenda’s affair is no longer a secret around town. Katlego isn’t taking to motherhood and it seems that she’s about to crack, and KK gives Sthe the keys to his house for him to house-sit while KK’s away. A visitor knocks on KK’s front door and Sthe is greeted by Matshidiso, who makes him an enticing offer. Livhuwani still has a bond with Tenda, while Katlego refuses to see a doctor in case there is something wrong with her. Livhuwani is ready to explode with rage over Tenda and Dee’s flirting, and Katlego suffers an emotional meltdown. Matshidiso later plays submissive with her hot fling.
