Eric is forced to rein in Quinn when she’s especially cruel to Katie, while the Forresters’ handsome new estate manager Mateo gives Quinn a shoulder to cry on. Brooke tells Maya and Rick why she left Bill, and Sheila cosies up to Pam, who should be wary of this new user in her life. Steffy offers to help Bill and Liam mend their relationship, while Justin slips Bill a little secret on the side. Steffy tries to make peace, and Bill gets to work on a new scheme.

Sami returns to Salem and she’s on the warpath because John and Paul have dug up Will’s grave. Abby sees Sami snogging Chad, while Marlena, Lucas and Eric welcome Sami home later. Sami suggests that Dr Rolf might have saved Will, and Sonny and Paul’s relationship crumbles as Sonny hopes against hope that Will is alive. Theo sulks about Claire and Tripp’s new working relationship, and Victor announces that he’s marrying Adrienne (really Bonnie). Steve demands to speak to Hattie in prison, and Brady orders Nicole to dump Eric and leave Salem or go to jail for murdering Deimos.

Mariah surprises Tessa, and Victor tries to strike a deal with Nikki but it’s not going to be easy. Sharon and Noah confront Nick about his reasons for handing over his entire trust fund to a charity in an effort to escape Victor’s influence. Nick attempts to make peace with Victor by ensuring that a part of his trust is earmarked for helping orphans. Devon is given a new perspective on Hilary, and Cane returns to Genoa City after Jill makes him acting CEO of Chancellor Industries.
