Nicole’s baby betrayal sends Zende into a tizzy and into the arms of the wrong woman.

When Maya and Rick (Karla Mosley and Jacob Young) invited her sister Nicole and Zende (Reign Edwards and Rome Flynn) over for lunch on Tuesday 7 November, Zende had a feeling that there was more to it than “just lunch”. And boy, was he right! Was he prepared for Maya and Rick to ask Nicole to play surrogate mother for a second time? No way! Nicole carrying baby Lizzie (Jaliyah and Janiyah Wilson) and giving birth to her on Friday 9 June this year almost tore her and Zende apart, so Zende is putting his foot down now and forbidding his model girlfriend from a second child.

Maya invites Nicole out for some “girls time” on Thursday 23 November and asks if Nicole has given any thought to her and Rick’s “little request”. But she’s already been prepped by Zende – “You know what to say, right? ‘Love to help. Sorry. Bad timing.’” At lunch, Maya tries to re-assure her sister that there is no pressure to say yes, while back at home, Nicole’s half-sister Sasha (Felisha Cooper) visits Zende, who she had a fling with in June when Zende lost the plot momentarily. “There is no way Nicole is ever doing that again,” he tells her defiantly. If only Zende knew the power of broodiness – Nicole is watching Maya and Lizzie bond at lunch and she changes her mind on Friday 24 November: she’s going to do a surrogate-mom repeat for Maya and Rick!
FALLOUT & CAUGHT IN THE ACT
Shame, poor Zende is speechless on Monday 27 November when Nicole tells him her news. “It is not your job to have babies for them!” he shouts. Cue a binge-drinking session with Sasha on Tuesday 28 November that ends with a dirty weekend away in Hawaii to forget about Nicole. Meanwhile in LA, Nicole pulls the plug on her surrogacy plan on Friday 1 December. Apologising to Maya and Rick, she tells them that “I need to make things right with Zende”, before heading to the airport to welcome him home on Monday 4 December from what she thinks is a little holiday alone. Except he’s not alone when Nicole opens the door to the bedroom on the private jet. There lie Zende and Sasha in all their glory…
