Gail ditches David for having the 66er gang murder Big Man.

Dodgy David Genaro (Jamie Bartlett) is used to getting his way. He proposes to his babymama Gail (Pam Andrews) on Monday 8 January to stop her moving to Cape Town but she snubs his proposal, explains Pam. “Gail is uncertain. She’d love to play happy family with David and their son Quinton (Pam’s real-life son Cidjey Thivillion) but she’s tired of going in circles.” And there is another problem: Gail doesn’t want to rush into marriage before she ends things with her on-off gangster lover Big Man (Quincy Fynn) who vanished in late December 2017. “Gail knows that he isn’t just ‘missing’,” says Pam. “It’s not like him to disappear. David ordered the 66ers gang to kill Big Man and he is pretending not to know anything when Gail questions him.” She’s putting everything on hold until she can find Big Man – including giving David an answer.
FAMILY AFFAIRS
Gail isn’t the only one who’s noticed Big Man’s absence. David’s daughter Pearl (Petronella Tshuma) goes snoop- Big Man would never take his chain off, so something must be wrong… ing in her dad’s office on Thursday 11 January. “Pearl thinks that exposing David will help her get revenge for him trying to murder her mom Andiswa (Tina Jaxa) in November 2017,” explains Pam. Pearl finds Big Man’s chain in David office and rushes to show Gail. “Gail is in denial though,” explains Pam. “She doesn’t want to believe that Big Man is dead.” But the chain does give her reason to confront David…
CALLING IT QUITS
The pair have a showdown on Monday 15 January and Gail demands answers, but David tries to squirm his way out. But then she drops the chain evidence in his face and “David cracks,” explains Pam. His admission takes them both by surprise and the actress adds, “Gail is upset that Pearl was right and that David got the 66ers to kill Big Man.” It’s enough reason for Gail to pack her bags and leave for Cape Town, warning David to stay away from her and Quinton. “David tries to stop her and offers Gail his apartment while he looks for another place to live,” says Pam. “Gail is still in shock from the news about Big Man. She decides to stay put for now but David needs to stay away,” explains Pam. Thing is, David hasn’t changed the locks on the doors and he has never been one to take “no” for an answer.
