Captain Mthimkhulu is the first to turn his back on Mondli after the detective is accused of firing the bullet that killed MaNzuza. Fikile and her dangerous new lover and business partner Sbu are living the high life, but Fikile’s joyride is headed for a crash. Mxolisi hears his mother MaNzuza’s dying wish, and Pastor Mdletshe tries to force Mxolisi to take responsibility after Lily’s family confront him for taking her virginity. Sbu and Mondli’s disappearance raises questions, and Mastermind goes house hunting with Thobile but Thobile is disappointed by Mastermind’s attempt to go straight. Pastor Mdletshe weighs up accepting money from Qhabanga to solve the church’s financial crisis, and Nkunzi is up to no good again but his pool of reliable henchmen is shrinking. Nospiho’s relationship with Mondli’s falls apart after she finds out what he GC is back and that means two things: fun and drama! did to Sbu. GC throws himself into the church’s new Passion Play ahead of Easter, while Nkunzi plots a huge Easter heist and MaNgcobo plots a caper with a crew of her own.
APRIL
MaNgcobo awaits a call from her buyer while admiring Nkunzi’s loot, but her blabbermouth partner-in- crime Patjutju (Lindiwe Ndlovu) could ruin everything. Nkunzi is out to destroy whoever double- crossed him, while Qhabanga is filled with glee as his plan comes together. Zekhethelo escapes from a landlord who thinks that he’s entitled to sex instead of rent thanks to her new roommate, and later Zekhethelo turns to Mxolisi for help when her roommate ends up dead. Fikile wants to dump Sbu but he turns up the charm, Mondli pushes Nosipho away, and a spark reignites between Zekhethelo and Mxolisi. Qhabanga fights scepticism from the church board and then pretends to bury the hatchet with Mondli, who’s hiding the fact that he has been suspended, and Nkunzi’s worst enemies are now best friends.
