Even Neo sneers at Mangi when his plot to make Quinton look a fool takes an unexpected turn. Quinton is forced to turn to Dintle for advice when his feud with Mangi has consequences that could send him to prison, and Hlengiwe has an inside source that could link Neo to what happened to Pacino [the role was never cast]. Chumani seems shaken when he bumps into an old school pal but Xoli wonders if the reaction is just a smokescreen for a big personal issue. Zinzile is suspicious when Phindi sneaks around to help Javas, and the fallout from the Comboa crash places Gloria and her friends in dire financial straits. Ndu meanwhile suspects that he’s being conned over Sihle’s expenses.

Neo orders Quinton to shut Hlengiwe down, and Mangi is freaked out when he wakes up in hospital. Layla drops Quinton a warning after spotting a golddigger sharpening her claws, and Dintle thinks that she’s seen a ghost. Romeo decides to meddle in Chumani’s life, and Chumani sits his mom and dad down for “the big talk” – an important family member later makes the trip to Johannesburg to put in their surprising two cents worth. Xoli is surprised by one of the Langas’ reaction to Chumani’s news, and Kgosi and Ndu keep secrets from Gloria while Gloria believes that Ndu is dating a witch. Kgosi’s real dad returns, and a newcomer sets tongues wagging at the Safe N Clean offices.
