Ian’s plan to open a bar isn’t welcomed by the community, and Chris is annoyed with Lee-Ann. Simon bids Danni farewell, Rhafiek and Carmen find themselves at a crossroads, and AB organises a protest against Ian’s new bar but the Octobers fight back. Ian addresses the protesters and tries to change their opinions, and Pastor Ronald is worried about his grandson Siya and Michelle getting too close. Meanwhile, Stefan wants to show off Stella to his parents, and Ian brings the bar launch forward and asks Zoe to help. Wade and Ty suspect that Siya and Michelle have feelings for each other. Carmen’s friend Ciska (Amalia Uys) shows up on her doortep unannounced, and Stefan tries to stop Michelle from getting a divorce. Ciska makes Carmen doubt her life choices, Ronald and Siya argue over Michelle, and Stefan tries to continue with his life after his divorce.
APRIL
Bianca wonders if she should look for her biological father, and businessman Eugene ( Waldemar Schultz) sends Ian a clear message. The Samsodiens are opposed to Bianca’s search efforts for her father, and Ian tells Ty what’s really going on at the bar. There is concern for Stefan’s injuries, and Tim gets involved in Ian and Eugene’s plans. Bianca finally meets her father Eben (Phillip Henn) but struggles to tell him about her secret. Stefan’s health deteriorates, Tim hates lying to Danni, and Chris interviews new tenants. Stefan speaks to Michelle about her relationship with Siya, and AB tells Eben what happened to the letters he wrote to Mymoena years ago. Lee-Ann later phones the police about something suspicious in the centre.
MAY
Michelle and Siya struggle to repair their relationship. Bianca questions Eben’s motives, and AB pleads his case to Mymoena. Eugene asks Tim for help, and Bianca wonders about her father’s intentions. Michelle catches Siya in a lie, AB takes desperate steps to keep Eben away from Mymoena, and Bianca panics when Stella falls ill. Siya makes a mistake, and Tim is caught in Eugene’s web of lies.
