Watch out, Quinn and Ridge – those secret hook-ups are about to become a whole lot more public!

Ivy Forrester (Ashleigh Brewer) is playing detective this fortnight to figure out what exactly is going on between Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) and his mother-in-law Quinn (Rena (Rena Sofer). Ivy has suspected that the two are more than “just family” after spotting them getting all touchyfeely in the Forrester Creations steam room on Monday 22 January. And to Ivy, it’s no co-incidence that Ridge and Quinn are both in San Francisco on Wednesday 14 February. “They hate each other’s guts, but now suddenly Ridge and Quinn are working and travelling together? No, something is just not adding up,” teases Ashleigh.
FUN IN THE SUN
In the days leading up to the business trip, Ivy has noticed a change between Ridge and Quinn. “It is so obvious that there is chemistry between them,” says Ashleigh. It’s a little different on Wednesday 14 February when Ridge and Quinn get to San Francisco – there’s a hint of tension in the air at first. “You are trying to get me to cross a line that Eric would never forgive,” Quinn tells Ridge on Wednesday 14 February. “What kind of person does that? What kind of son does that?” Ridge snaps back with, “Did you really even for a second think that I had feelings for you? Are you kidding me?” But there’s no kidding around when they kiss and the scene changes.
Q&A FOR QUINN
Quinn stresses when the pair return to LA on Tuesday 20 February. “She doesn’t want anyone to know what happened,” Rena explains. “Too much is at stake. It’s also not a relationship that either Quinn or Ridge want to have. It’s not supposed to develop into something. Quinn doesn’t want to lose everything over this.” Ivy’s investigation gets more fuel on Friday 23 February when she walks in on Ridge dressing Quinn in a Forrester design. Quinn flusters off in a panic and Ivy follows, peppering Quinn with questions about the trip and Ridge. “Quinn ‘honestly’ explains to Ivy that she doesn’t know why she is acting so strange around Ridge. She tries to tell Ivy how much she loves Eric (John McCook) and she doesn’t want to hurt him,” says Rena. And it’s not just Ivy that Quinn should be wary of. Katie (Heather Tom) has also noticed the chemistry between Quinn and Ridge, with Rena adding that “should Katie find out, she would destroy Quinn. Quinn fears Katie far more than Ivy!”
THE KATIE FACTOR
“She has seen them in close encounters at Forrester Creations,” admits Heather. “Katie has great intuition and it rarely steers her wrong.” So it’s no surprise to her on Friday 23 February when Eric tells her about Ridge and Quinn’s trip and how they’re on such great terms. “This seemingly new bond concerns Katie, mainly for her sister Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang), who is about to marry Ridge – again. Katie wants Brooke to be happy, but if her gut feeling is right, it will blow everything out the water,” warns Heather.
LOCKED ON
Like Ivy, Katie is determined to get to the bottom of Ridge and Quinn’s unsettling new “friendship”. Heather adds that her character “is pretty much a dog with a bone. Katie doesn’t give up easily. She will go as far as spying on Ridge and Quinn. She isn’t going to stop until the truth is revealed!”
