Roman is forced to fire Rafe thanks to Chad, Adrienne is convinced that Justin is having an affair, and Melanie and Brady start dating after a New Year’s kiss. JJ tells Jennifer that he cheated on Paige, and Theresa hooks up with Clint (Lucas Kerr). One of Victor’s men shoots Clyde and leaves his body in the park, and Serena searches Eric’s apartment for an elephant statue from Africa.

APRIL

Sonny finds out about Will and Paul’s affair but loses the memory after he is stabbed. Paul learns that Will is Sonny’s husband, while Will realises that Paul is Sonny’s ex. Aiden tells Hope that Chase accidentally shot his mom Meredith (Julie Tolivar), and JJ convinces Paige that he is now dating Roxanne (Andriana Manfredi). Clyde bounces back from death, Brady and Melanie have sex, and Clint tails Theresa for Dr Mandrake (Sal Landi). Justin later walks in on Adrienne with Lucas.

MAY

Will blackmails Paul’s mom Tori (Hira Ambrosino) into making Paul leave town, and Sonny returns to Salem. Will and Paul’s affair is exposed in public, Marlena finds out that Paul might be John’s son, and Justin attacks Lucas for romancing Adrienne. Jennifer beats up Eve after catching her in bed with JJ, and Stefano seizes control of DiMera Enterprises once again.

14 – 16 FEBRUARY

Hope confronts Aiden about Bree’s warning, and Aiden threatens Bree over the phone after having sex with Hope. Anne tells Melanie that she won’t hire her but Brady steps in after Melanie and Theresa have a catfight over Theresa’s pregnancy. Will takes off his wedding ring before meeting with the subject of his article – Paul. Sonny finds out that Will only returned to Salem because he was fired, while Eric tells Serena why he can never forgive Nicole or return to the priesthood.

19 – 23 FEBRUARY

Victor wants Clyde out of Salem, and Eve persuades Shane’s doctor to lie to Paige about his condition so that Paige will stay in California. Kimberly tells Paige and Kayla that Shane will be fine, and Eric and Melanie catch Nicole with her nose in Serena’s business. Eric discusses memories of Africa with Serena, and Nicole and Daniel start dating. Will interviews Paul about his personal life, Hope talks to Doug about Bo after he catches her kissing Aiden, and JJ and Eve get steamy after fighting about Paige.

26 – 27 FEBRUARY

The Horton family gather around the tree for their traditional Christmas celebrations, the Bradys celebrate in the pub, and the Kiriakis mansion is full of cheer as Brady and Daniel give Victor something special. Brady mends fences with John, and JJ dumps Paige.
