Zende finishes with a top hat that was typical for formal attire in the 1850s”. Bold’s costume designer wishes that the show could’ve bought Nicole’s dress, revealing that “we rented it at a fraction of the price as we have a good relationship with the designers. It’s covered in pearl and jewel detailing with a cascading ballgown skirt made of tulle. We loved this gown for Nicole because it turned her into a fairytale princess”.

WEDDING RUSH
What will surprise fans is how soon they get to the altar – just four days. The Forrester mansion is filled with flowers by Monday 19 March as guests gather, as well as some familiar family faces says Reign. “The people Nicole is looking forward to seeing are her mom Vivienne and dad Julius (Anna Maria Horsford and Obba Babatundé). She hasn’t seen them in a while, so she knows her big day is now perfect when she sees them arrive.” Sasha pulls her sister aside and tells Nicole how happy she is for her and that Nicole has forgiven her for the pain she caused Nicole. “Them making up is a huge relief,” adds Reign.

The Wedding March plays as Nicole walks down the staircase on Tuesday 20 March and it’s a moment Reign remembers well [the episode aired in the US in early 2017]. “Nicole is so into that moment. She has her father walk her down the aisle and give her away to the love of her life; it’s her fairytale.” Marriage officer Carter Walton (Lawrence SaintVictor) pronounces them husband and wife later that Tuesday and while Reign says that “these are the words Nicole has been waiting to hear for so long”, it wouldn’t be Bold if the wedded bliss lasted…
