Aside from a cast including Ben Whishaw and Hugh Grant, this three-episode miniseries explores a stranger-than-fiction case in which an MP was accused of trying to have his lover assassinated by a hitman (paid for with stolen political funds) to avoid having his gay affairs exposed.
