BURNING QUESTION!
Eagle-eyed readers will notice that besides the storyline synopsis, we don’t have a Muvhango story in this issue either – we do miss you, Chief Azwindini! This is definitely not for a lack of trying! We hoped to have a story about new actress Vatiswa Ndara joining the SABC2 soap in late-March, early April, but despite numerous requests, probing and chasing, we couldn’t get answers in time to write an article that we feel is tvplus worthy. With every issue, we try to be like the Gladiators in The Fixer (2012-current) and get you all the stories and insights from the characters and actors that we possibly can. But as it happens in any good TV show, there are often twists and turns and unexpected events that get in the way.
Sometimes it’s the publicists for a show not returning our SOS messages and sometimes the actors are unavailable, but we definitely do try to get every bit of information from them. Issue for issue, we look at what is hot on television, what is trending on social media and what will fall in your reading (and viewing) interest. Please know that when we can’t get a story that we know you would want to read, we are just as disappointed in the lack of coverage.
