Gloria has gone from boasting about her millions to hiding the boerewors!
Greedy Gloria (Marjorie Langa) got a little too used to splashing her cash around before the Comboa pyramid scheme crashed on Wednesday 21 February. It’s a huge part of why she schemed to make her daughter Gontse (Khanyisile Zwane) leave her with custody of Baby Sihle (Xolani Xaba) before she went to Dubai on Monday 12 March. But while Gloria gave Sihle’s daddy Ndu (Andile Sithole) a massive budget for “Sihle’s” needs on Tuesday 13 March, Scandal! fans know that with Gloria, too much is never enough. When she runs out of food and cash on Tuesday 17 April, the solution seems simple: squeeze it out of Ndu. She shouldn’t count her chickens though. “Ndumiso and Gloria were once crooks together. Way back. And he knows her very, very well,” cackles Marjorie. Get ready for the ultimate battle of the chancers!
BLOWING THE BUDGET
“She escalates the budget and includes things that she doesn’t even buy, all to scam Ndumiso out of more money,” reveals Marjorie. But Ndu knows her tricks and he has the perfect secret strategy to keep Gloria from wasting even more money – and his plan has Marjorie laughing her head off. Let’s just say for now that we are seeing Ndu in a new light – as a super-helpful personal shopper. And Ndu has Gloria on the ropes on Monday 23 April when he moves in to her house to see exactly how his money is being spent. But Gloria isn’t out of tricks yet and she knows how to play poor.

“Obviously you know the smell of boerewors. Ndu comes in and says, ‘Ooh, great timing! I’m hungry’. But she says the only thing they’re eating is pap and cabbage. She claims, ‘The smell is from the oil from the boerewors that I saved a long time ago. I cooked the cabbage in it’. She’s hidden the wors in the fridge.” So when Ndu wants to help himself to something in the fridge, Gloria will be leaping up to serve him instead. How nice! But Gloria had better think carefully when Ndu asks her to set up a new budget for baby Sihle on Tuesday 24 April…
