True love can conquer all – just ask Thomas Forrester.
Thomas (Pierson Fodé) is your typical Forrester stud who can’t seem to get it right on the love front… but that’s about to change, hints Pierson when we call him in LA. “He has been the unluckiest guy when it comes to love, but I think he has, for now at least, found true love – and you won’t believe where!” Sally Spectra [Courtney Hope] – a member of his family’s rivals. “The chemistry has been spilling over ever since the two met on Tuesday 6 March and it’s sizzling hot now. But that’s not good news for everyone, like Spectra designer Saul Feinberg Jr (Alex Wyse) who’s crazy for his flaming redhead boss – he spots the pair smooching up a storm on Friday 13 April. And like a love-sick teen, Sally follows Thomas to Australia on Monday 23 April to surprise him at Liam and Steffy’s (Scott Clifton and Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) wedding. “He thinks it’s the sweetest thing that somebody has ever done for him,” Pierson laughs, and that’s not all he had to say about his onscreen love…
Why is Thomas smitten with “the enemy”? Sally is an alpha female who knows what she wants – and she is breaking down his emotional walls. He finds her funny, witty and exciting. He is looking for a strong woman with her own opinions and ideas about life and work. So they are a match made in heaven. It doesn’t bother him that she’s a Spectra? At first it did, but later he gets excited about the possibilities of the two of them together as a couple and maybe later as designers. Who knows? He likes her designs but they need refinement – maybe his well-groomed touch… They’re not going to make their families very happy… Thomas’s sister Steffy will be their number-one enemy because she’s the Forrester version of Sally.
