Ghosted Season 1 Saturdays (from 14 April) FOX (*125) 20:25
Disgraced detective Leroy Wright (Craig Robinson, Darryl Philbin from comedy series The Office, 2005-2013) and former professor Max Jennifer (Adam Scott, Ben Wyatt in comedy Parks And Recreation, 2009-2015) are recruited by secret government agency Bureau Underground, who investigate paranormal activities in and around Los Angeles in Ghosted (2017- current). “The only problem is that Leroy is a
non-believer in the supernatural and Max is a true believer who is convinced his wife was abducted by aliens,” jokes series creator Kevin Etten. “This sees them sharing more laughs than scares as they go about their new work,” teases Kevin. “It’s like The X- Files (1993- current) meets Ghostbusters (1984) – the scary parts in The X-Files mixed with the comedic elements from Ghostbusters.” But don’t expect to see fake ghost events, adds Kevin: “We’re absolutely taking inspiration from real events and then we disguise it as much as we can and make it into our own.”
